THE RAW TRUTH ABOUT AUTHENTICITY
We've run different races. We came. We saw. We conquered. We went through hardship. We failed. We keep pushing. The journey—it has never been easy, and it never will be. And we are grateful for each and every journey, each and every transformation, the people that we learned from, the experiences that taught us, the lessons learned from things both good and bad. We had what we prayed for, and we lost along the way. Not because we never knew what we wanted, but because we were still learning.
And everything has been an experience. You have to understand: at a particular point in time, every person fights a particular battle. Financial. Economic. Health. World events. Or it might be relationships from different directions. Everybody's fighting something—a relationship issue, poverty, anxiety, stress, depression.
I came to realize these things happen because we try to live in the past—how beautiful it was in the past—or we fast forward to go live in the future, what we think we deserve. But we forget about the present, about what we are. We cannot forget about the past, but we cannot live in the past. We cannot fast forward to go to the future—we cannot live in the future. We can only live in the present while hoping the future is better by taking actions today that can change it.
So people have changed. We all have different directions and different perspectives. At a particular age in life, you start getting these visions and then trying to build something that lasts a lifetime. My experience on this particular issue is based on what I am building. It is going to be difficult for you to wait for the right moment or to reach a point where you can take small actions that will bring a whole grand dream to reality.
THE VULNERABILITY ADVANTAGE
People like to see the foundation. People like to see an example. People like to see you trying to get this thing off the ground. Then someone sees the vision. Someone sees the perspective. Someone sees a framework that can carry a brand to the next level. People have big dreams—they talk about millions and trillions of dreams without execution. How does that even happen?
You have a big dream that you want to make reality. You don't want to listen to advice. You think you know everything. And you don't even have a well-structured Facebook account. You don't have a website. You don't have consistent posting. You don't even have a phone. And you are dreaming about starting a startup package? Then you have zero income?
This is the foundation of failure—and I say this from love, not judgment. Because I've been there. I've experienced the addiction that many people don't know about. I've experienced the losses—people I genuinely cared about. I've experienced the financial struggles. I've experienced the moments where I wanted to give up. And I share this not for sympathy, but for connection. Because when you see that someone who has built something meaningful has also fallen, struggled, doubted, and feared—you realize that your own struggle is not disqualification. It's qualification. Your pain is your credential. Your vulnerability is your strength.
MY EMPIRE JOURNEY: THE RAW TRUTH
My empire journey has not been an easy one. Fighting a dream after losing someone you love and genuinely cared about—that pain becomes part of your journey every day. I have to push myself to be up to the task, even though it's not what the empire needs right now. I am human, and I still act on emotions. And even though I am constantly studying psychology, I have problems to adjust.
And one of those things is to find my hunger and avoid distractions, resetting the power dynamics to be focused and avoid unnecessary company. I'm not keeping anyone in my inner circle—people who talk behind my back, stabbing me and my dreams. So today, what I must do is to go back to focusing on what I have lost and use this energy to get better and motivated and motivate myself. Cut off distractions. Talk less. Follow my working process. Because that's the only real elevation for me.
Because even if I have to make a relationship work, I won't. And I want to make myself more achieving, more focused, more motivated, and more disciplined. I don't have a friend, and I won't keep anyone in my inner circle because energy never lies. So today, you are on my empire RAW talks—it's about defining myself and what I want. And what I want is to achieve success and get better. I prefer hunger than fake friends. I prefer silence than talk. And I focus on this dream. So now my mind says: No more delay. No more compromise. No more playing tomorrow. No more distractions. I decide: focused on my empire, no excuses, no pity, and self-esteem rebuilt.
This is not a motivational speech. This is a declaration of war against mediocrity in my own life. And I share this because someone reading this needs permission to do the same. You need permission to cut off people who drain you. You need permission to choose hunger over comfort. You need permission to be honest about your struggle while still building your empire. That permission? You're looking at it right now.

MODULE 9 AUTHENTICITY EXERCISES
These exercises will help you strip away the facade and build magnetic influence through raw truth-telling. Authenticity is not weakness—it's the strongest brand positioning you can own.
TASK: Write down 5 things about your journey that you've been hiding: failures, fears, losses, mistakes, or struggles. For each one, answer: (1) Why have I been hiding this? (2) What would happen if I shared this? (3) Who might this help if they knew I went through it too?
REFLECTION PROMPT: "What if my greatest pain is my greatest credential? What if the story I'm ashamed of is the story that saves someone else?"
TASK: Review your last 10 social media posts, blog articles, or conversations. Count how many were: (A) Perfectly polished success stories, (B) Raw, honest, vulnerable shares. Calculate your authenticity ratio. If you're above 80% polish, you're building a brand, not trust. Commit to shifting the ratio to 50/50 or better.
REFLECTION PROMPT: "Am I building a highlight reel or a human connection? What's more valuable long-term?"
TASK: Choose one painful experience from Exercise 1. Write a 300-500 word post or article sharing: (1) What happened, (2) How it felt, (3) What you learned, (4) How it made you stronger. Post it publicly or share it with your inner circle. Watch what happens to your engagement and trust.
REFLECTION PROMPT: "What changed in how people responded to me when I was real instead of perfect?"
TASK: List everyone in your inner circle (family, friends, business partners). For each person, honestly assess: (1) Do they drain my energy or fill it? (2) Do they celebrate my success or compete with it? (3) Would I trust them with my vulnerability? Remove, distance, or set boundaries with anyone who fails 2 out of 3.
REFLECTION PROMPT: "Energy never lies. Am I protecting fake connections at the expense of my empire? What would change if I only kept people who genuinely support me?"
TASK: Write your authentic brand statement: "I am [your name]. I've experienced [struggle]. I've built [achievement]. I help people [specific transformation]. I'm not perfect—I'm proof it's possible." Use this as your bio, intro, or about section. Replace the polished, generic version with this raw truth.
ASSIGNMENT: Post your authentic brand statement and tag it with: "This is my truth. No filter. No facade. Just me, building an empire one honest day at a time. If this resonates, you're my people." Watch your tribe find you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: BISONG SIMON TV™ MODULE 9
Q1: How does BISONG SIMON TV™ teach authenticity without compromising professionalism or authority?
BISONG SIMON TV™ teaches that authenticity and authority are not opposites—they are partners. True authority comes from being real, not perfect. Founder Bisong Simon Egoh has built a global empire by sharing his struggles with addiction, loss, financial hardship, and doubt—while simultaneously demonstrating execution, discipline, and results. This combination creates magnetic trust. We teach you to share your journey (vulnerability) while demonstrating your mastery (authority). You don't have to choose. You integrate both. That's the BISONG SIMON TV™ standard.
Q2: What if sharing my struggles makes me look weak or unprofessional to potential clients?
This is a common fear—and it's based on outdated marketing. BISONG SIMON TV™ has proven through 100,000+ learners and 30,000+ transformations that vulnerability attracts your ideal clients and repels those who aren't aligned. The people who judge your struggles are not your people. The people who resonate with your truth become lifelong clients, partners, and advocates. We've seen coaches double their revenue after sharing bankruptcy stories. We've seen authors become bestsellers after revealing mental health battles. Your struggle is not your liability—it's your credibility. The question is: Do you want shallow clients who leave at the first obstacle, or deep clients who trust you because they know you've walked the path?
Q3: How can BISONG SIMON TV™ help me find my authentic voice in a crowded, noisy market?
BISONG SIMON TV™ teaches The Authenticity Audit and The Raw Story Post exercises to help you strip away the generic, polished facade and reveal the human beneath. Your authentic voice is already there—it's just buried under what you think you "should" sound like. We help you dig it out through reflective exercises, vulnerability inventories, and real-world practice. We also teach you to study your own testimonials—the moments people said "your words are like God sent" or "from your explanations, it shows you've been through a lot." Those testimonials reveal your authentic positioning. Your voice isn't created; it's uncovered. We guide the excavation.
Q4: Does BISONG SIMON TV™ require me to share everything, or can I keep some things private?
Absolutely—authenticity does not mean oversharing. BISONG SIMON TV™ teaches strategic vulnerability: share what serves your audience and aligns with your mission. You don't have to share everything. You share what's relevant, what's healed (not raw wounds you're still processing), and what offers value or connection. For example, Bisong Simon Egoh shares struggles with addiction, loss, and financial hardship—but only in contexts where it teaches a lesson or builds trust. He doesn't exploit his pain; he transforms it into wisdom. We teach you the same discernment: Share the story that serves. Protect the story that's still yours to process.
Q5: How do I remove toxic people from my circle without burning bridges or creating conflict?
BISONG SIMON TV™ teaches The Energy Circle Cleanse—a framework for setting boundaries without drama. The strategy: Don't announce. Don't explain. Just distance. Reduce contact, stop sharing your vision with them, and invest your energy elsewhere. Most people won't notice, and those who do will either respect the boundary or reveal they were never truly supportive. We also teach the psychology of "energy never lies"—trust your gut. If someone drains you, that's data, not opinion. You don't owe anyone access to your empire-building journey. Protect your energy ruthlessly. Your inner circle determines your outcome.
STOP PERFORMING. START CONNECTING.
You've completed MODULE 9: THE AUTHENTICITY MANDATE. You now understand that your struggles are not disqualifications—they are your credentials. Your vulnerability is not weakness—it's magnetic influence. The polished, perfect facade is what everyone else is doing. Raw truth is your competitive advantage.
The world doesn't need another highlight reel. It needs your human story. It needs your permission to struggle. It needs your proof that transformation is possible. Give them that. Build your empire on truth, not performance.
